HTS 2916: Unsaturated acyclic monocarboxylic acids, cyclic…

HTS heading 2916 covers unsaturated acyclic monocarboxylic acids, cyclic monocarboxylic acids, their anhydrides, halides, peroxides and peroxyacids; their halogenated, sulfonated, nitrated or nitrosated derivatives. It has 37 tariff lines with a duty rate; the general (MFN) rates are 6.5% (20 lines), Free (6 lines), 3.7% (5 lines) and others.

Imports may also owe Chapter 99 tariffs (Section 232, 301 or 201) depending on origin and date, plus the Merchandise Processing Fee and, by sea, the Harbor Maintenance Fee.
