Seat & Sharing Policy
Draft for review: this text has not yet been reviewed by counsel.
Trade Terminal is priced per person. This policy explains what that means and how we keep it fair for every subscriber.
One seat, one person
- Each seat belongs to one named individual. Credentials, one-time codes and sessions must not be shared.
- Teams add seats from Account → Team. Owners can remove or reassign seats at any time.
Devices
These are the most we enforce. We may phase them in, and apply them the same way to every seat.
- Each seat can keep up to 2 trusted browsers. A new browser is confirmed with a code sent to the seat holder's email.
- You can replace a trusted device yourself up to 2 times in 30 days. For more, contact support.
- Only one active session is allowed at a time. Signing in somewhere new signs out the previous session.
How we detect sharing
We look at patterns, not single events: sign-ins that interrupt an active session, a signed-out session that keeps working, a device cookie appearing on different hardware, frequent device swaps, and sign-ins from many networks in a short period.
What happens
- First, we email the seat holder and tell you what we saw.
- If it continues, Trade Terminal access pauses until we've spoken with you. Your account and billing are not cancelled.
- Automated scraping or bulk export of terminal data is not permitted and may end access.
